Work to dismantle the burnt-out shell of the arcade on Eastbourne Pier, that was destroyed by fire last summer, is here almost completed.

Fire At An Industrial Estate
The blaze started at Skip-It Containers in the North Quay of Newhaven. 200 tonnes of compacted household waste was affected. The Fire crews are still there for a fourth consecutive day , working hard to minimise the damages.
